if only I had started writing months ago...

...about all the crazy things I hear at work. I'm telling you, pre-schoolers especially love to share their lives with anyone. When we have kids, remind me to duct-tape their mouths shut before they leave the house. :-)

Today though it was the teacher.
We were at a small Catholic school, and I overheard the teacher interacting with the kids in her circle. You know how some people are just wound tighter than others. YEah...

"Jimmy! Don't act sick while you're praying. You just wait Jimmy! You're
going to have the flu tonight. That's what happens to kids who act up in
prayer
time. Just wait Jimmy. God's going to make you really sick."

Wow

I think that beats the kid that threw up last week.
And the other preschooler that told me all about his dad's video poker addiction.
I really should go into professional blackmail

Playing with light

My friend Julie and I decided to go play with light in Downtown Minneapolis.

"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving
and tolerant of the weak and strong.
Because someday in life you will have been all of these."
~George Washington Carver
